Pula Golf Resort has been 100% committed to sustainability since its foundation. The Resort has developed all its activity minimising the ecological impact on the environment and prioritising regeneration. Following the pioneering spirit of sustainability, Pula Golf Resort has designed a Regenerative Hotel Competitive (HRC) model with the help of La Buena Huella, a leading company in the sector.
The HRC method is based on the identification of the negative and positive impacts of the activity of Pula Golf Resort. In this way, strengths are enhanced and negative externalities are minimised. The result is an increase in the positive effects of the same activity.
The HRC structures the strategies having a positive impact.
The HRC structures strategies taking into account several factors. Sustainability objectives cannot be a one-off event, they have to be a new way of working. Therefore, planning is done jointly with civil society, universities, private enterprise and public administration. Only with the alliance of everyone's priorities can a coherent and long-lasting sustainability project be created.
Pula Golf Resort and La Buena Huella have a vision and a purpose, embodied in the strategic plan 2021/2022. The aim is to generate more resources than are consumed, becoming the first regenerative golf course in the world. The actions foreseen in the strategic planning will make Pula Golf return more natural resources than it consumes.

All the sustainability actions promoted at Pula Golf Resort have the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as a general framework. Generating more resources than they consume is an ambitious objective, which is why they have a good plan and great determination to achieve it.
