Three charming towns in Mallorca
Castles, routes, landscapes and gastronomy are part of the beauty of Capdepera, Sóller and Valldemossa, three charming towns very close to the resort. From east to west, we show you what each of these heritage jewels hides:

Capdepera
This first town is located just 10 minutes by car from Pula Golf Resort. It has a rich historical heritage, with towers and houses that are grouped on the mountain, from which spectacular views of the Mediterranean can be seen.

Without a doubt, Capdepera Castle is the most outstanding heritage element of the municipality and one of the greatest cultural and tourist attractions in the area. It is a fortress with a walled enclosure, declared Site of Cultural Interest, due to its state of conservation.

Nearby are some of the most incredible coves in Mallorca, such as Ratjada Cove, Agulla cove and Mesquida cove. The visit to the town, its heritage and its beaches are worth a visit during your stay on the island.

Soller
Sóller is surrounded by a green landscape on a northwestern valley. Its beautiful cobbled streets, the variety of restaurants and shops, and the colour of its houses make it one of the most charming towns in Mallorca.

In this corner of the island, craftsmanship stands out, as Sóller is one of those places where you can find everything, from soft leather Menorcan sandals and Audali bags, to gourmet salt and organic olive oil, without forgetting its oranges, the most reclaimed.

One of the most popular activities to do as a family is the train route to Sóller from Palma de Mallorca, although you can also easily get there by car from Son Servera. It offers a historic ride through the mountains on a wooden railway that takes you to this picturesque rural village in the north of the island. After visiting the town full of palaces and stately homes, you can get on the tram that will take you to Sóller port, 5 kilometres away, one of the most outstanding port areas in Mallorca.

Valldemossa
Near Sóller, on the same valley, Valldemossa is located, nestled on a slope of the lowest part of Tramontana Mountains. This elegant place, with its Real Cartuja monastery, the King’s Juan Carlos gardens, its monuments and its winding streets of stone houses, make Valldemossa one of the most beautiful towns in Mallorca.

This is also where Cell No. 4 of the Real Cartuja is located, where the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and the French writer George Sand lived between December 15, 1838 and February 11, 1839.
